In a country as vast as India, healthcare access is often a matter of geography and privilege. While urban hospitals are rapidly evolving, rural and low-income populations still lack basic medical services. At Emmanuel Globalcare Foundation, we believe that healthcare is a human right, not a luxury. Our work as a healthcare NGO in India focuses on reaching the unreachable with free medical services, preventive care, and awareness.
According to the World Health Organization, over 65% of India’s population lives in rural areas, but only 30% of healthcare professionals serve these regions. Add to that the cost of treatment, lack of awareness, and limited transportation—and the result is a public health emergency in slow motion.
Children die from preventable diseases. Women go without reproductive care. Elders suffer silently from chronic illnesses. We’re here to change that.
The Emmanuel Globalcare Foundation has developed a multi-pronged strategy to bridge the medical divide:
We collaborate with doctors, nurses, hospitals, and medical colleges that volunteer their time and expertise. This professional support, coupled with our grassroots reach, creates a sustainable and scalable healthcare model.
In 2024 alone, we conducted 92 health camps, reached over 25,000 individuals, and provided medications free of cost to more than 10,000 patients in Gujarat and surrounding regions.
We plan to expand our medical mobile units across 5 more states by 2026 and integrate telemedicine to reach isolated communities.
Emmanuel Globalcare Foundation (EGF) is a nationally recognized, non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to fostering sustainable development, human dignity, and social inclusion across India. With over 14 years of service
